Ok guys and gals. PYTHIA are making a video in early June for the song Sarah and we would love to know your ideas and what you would like to see.

Hi Pythia, My two penneth worth.
One of my thoughts about the band, when leaving camden last year was, that Emily
must have a problem with blokes, because of a couple of negative comments she aired that night. I ca`nt remember the whole comment word for word, but I do remember the feeling I took from it, Her rough interpretation was about Boyfriends not wanting to comit them-selves to marridge because they are still in love with their first loves of 12 years old Blah Blah Blah!. The second comment I dont even recall.
At the time I thought, well if thats your attitude towards blokes in a public arena, you might as well quit now. Who do you think half your concert going, CD buyers are.
Emilys comitment to those words were so intense, and powerful, you just know there`s got to be some element of truth behind them.
All I`m saying is you ca`nt always hear all the lyrics, you just take in the hook of the chorus lines, and if your lucky you pick up a few lines, if you do`nt know the songs at all.But I realised now, that comment goes before the track in question, SARAH.

The Within Tem`tion Mother Earth style, here`s an idea, cut out an arch in a willow tree,
and use the area under the tree as a stage. Red and green, very affective together.
I` ve also got an idea for one of Emilys dresses. I think I`ve bored you for long enuff.

Emily actually said 'this is for all those girls whose boyfriends dumped them for immortal virgins when they were 12'

So the song is of a girlfriend who dies & then no matter who the guy falls in love with, no one can compeat with Sarah.

Right. Start off with the funeral of Sarah (Her name on the coffin) & the guy crying & remenising his thoughts for her. running together by sea side, kissing on a boat on the thames. Then Sarah's death.

He could have been drink driving & she dies in the car crash, he is the blame for Sarahs death. That is why he blames himself.
That would make quite an impact to the song.

Then when you start to sing Have him with his back to you. He has just told you of his love for Sarah & of what he has done. You are holding her photo in your hands.

Marry me or bury me too.

You could have a quick clip of her in the coffin. (Then you thinking) You walking up the isle of the church in bridal gown, to marry him. Then clip of you crying. Then yourself in the coffin.

This clip of cause, would have to be quick, to match the words of the song

You have to give me more.

the two of you in bed (under silk covers) & the guy (on top) punches the pillow, realizing that, shall we say. He can not perform.

You could have her spirit looking on & crying, by what she has seen.
When he punches the pillow, her ghost smiles

One or two bits have to be addressed. But at the end of song it has you crying on the left. Him with a frustrated look on his face on the right & Sarah's ghost in the middle smiling.

I will think of more later.

Oh, Just a thought. How evil would it be, if you Emily was the ghost of Sarah. with another girl taking the part of the guys girlfriend

I think the point I was trying to make was that I had made a mistake in the 1st place,
and that I had a guilt complex about my stupidity in not picking up the song lyrics at the time. combined with Emilys comments B4 the track Sarah.

Another thought.

At the end of video you could have the words come across the sreen

If you work this well & send it to the anti drink driving campain. This just might give you good media coverage, with a possible advert on TV & cinima.

At the moment the is a huge push to stop drink driving by the anti drink driving group.

And quite right too.

Nice one Ed... good ideas... only prob is Sarah represents a first love. Certainly more than likely younger than UK driving age.... Or maybe not.....

intro is footage of the young couple driving along with all their mates in back, listening to another Pythia track in the background, then crash.... Then the into to sarah kicks off at the funeral...... GEEEEEENOIUS!

I feel that what ever age a person is (16-70) With the knowledge that they were to blame for a dear loved ones death, its something that they could never forgive themselves for.

Drink driveing would most certainly show the guys guilt for the death of his first true love.

Can you remember the death of love? Its the bands tag, but by God that would be a huge impact at the end of the video

With that being the case with how besoted he was for her, no one could get close to him because of his love & loss of his soul mate, that he was the blame for.

I think that Sarah's ghost would be of great impact to the story of the song.

You could call it a love triange. That the girl living ,could never compeat with his memories of Sarah & of what he had done. Much to Sarah's pleasure. As Sarah still wants him, from beyond the grave.

Sarah's ghost. The guys new love, The effect on him still ,by the death of Sarah & of how he still deeply blames himself for her death.

Its entirly up to you all, but the impact would come in by the way that Ive writen the story line above. Not showing how she died at first but keep the vieiwer of the video in suspence until the moment of impact.

Every good story line needs suspence. Showing the plot at the begining, takes that suspence away.

Its that knock out puch that does it every time. The veiwer will be thinking. 'My God I never saw that one coming.'

I find this amazing Emily.

I've only just read the bands profiles.

It seems as if we both like writing ghost stories. Have you had any published, or do you just do it for fun?

I ve just finnished writing one. Now Ive got the fun of pluging it all into the computer. I wrote it all free hand. I wont make that mistake again.

Also I see that we share the same fear. Nasty, down right horrible.

I shivered all over when I went & see Kill Bill 2 at the cinema
