Thank you for your last reply. As a fan of both bands I`de like to ask a couple of questions.Like how did the TARJA gig come about. Did you ask her yourself or was it the old managment phone call. One night you pick up the phone and your manager says
You`ll never guess who i`ve just had on the blower. You lot ( Pythia) are only supporting the female PAVAROTTI of METAL herself next thursday night. Or something like that anyway. Im not going to post any new posts for a while, i feel a little embarrassed at how many posts have my name under them. I dont want to take over.
or put new comers off.

PYTHIA asked very sweetly and Tarja said yes, because PYTHIA are the only band in the UK who could open up for such a weighty singer! Hope that answers your question. x

I was realy pleased to hear that news. If you want to get your self heard in the comunity at large, Tarja would have been none better.

Glad you sold alot of merchandise too.

Hi Goddess

How many gigs did the band have before the Tarja gig?

I would be interested to know, as I have plans to advertise the band on the offical Nightwish forum.

With so many links to Nightwish, I think that the Nightwish fans would be interested to know about Pythia.

Annette is a wonderful bubbly singer, I must admit but I do miss the soprano sound of Tarja.

Then with the band backing Tarja at Astoria London.

Thats one huge pedigree. A pedigree that promisses so much for the dizzy hights of the top Euro Female metal bands.

my friend got a bit confused at the gig . she thought emily was tarja and she didnt realise pythia was a support band . it took her until just after the first song to notice that emily has an english accent .
