Nearly a month on from this post and the DOWNLOAD bill has`nt got any better. Im with you mate, ditch the O.A.P.s and the pop bands. Get some hungry new METAL onstage.

The festival for Pythia is definitely Bloodstock in August, with Nightwish headlining on the last night!

Cheers Paul, i'll keep that in mind! I'm in Brixton at the end of the month for Opeth/Arch Enemy but i'm all booked up in a hotel this time. Looking to go to Camden Underworld at the end of September for Amberian Dawn, so i may be knocking on your door!

If you don't know Amberian Dawn, check them out. They're definitely alongside PYTHIA as one of 2008's most exciting prospects!

I found them on MySpace last year when they were writing their debut album. Since then it's been completed. I had it imported from Finland last month and i have to say, it's one of the best debut albums i've ever heard. It'll be released in the UK in mid-June.

They're gonna be big (maybe not in the UK because they're not a boring indie-rock band being played on awful Radio 1!) You heard it here first!

You may all be very pleased with the choice of support act for Amberian Dawn!
