What do we all think of Miss Amy Lee?

Not a great fan. Thought Fallen was a really good album but not too keen on the last one!

I love and respect Amy. Fallen was a great album that got me into the whole female-fronted rock/metal world.

However, with time something happened to her singing style that I don't like - she's hardly articulating anything properly anymore, all I hear is painful moans. I don't like what I've heard of the latest album so far, so I didn't bother to buy it. I like Fallen and pre-Fallen stuff, that's where it stopped for me, unfortunately.

I agree with the last 2 comments. Fallen was a good album. No matter how many times i hear "Bring me to life", i still love it! But the album after that didn't do it for me apart from one or two tracks. Didn't really enjoy her performance at Download last year either.

I wouldn't say no though...

I'm not really a big fan of Evanescence, although I have Fallen. It's a good album, but I lost interest. Also I heard that when I was like, 11? It didn't really open doors for me. Instead I got into Punk

I too have a copy of fallen, and wasn`t over impressed with it.
BUT ! if it wasn`t for bring me to life, groups like Nightwish, Within Temptation Etc
most normal Metal fans would not have heard them. That one song opened many doors,
for which I am eternally greatful for.
I saw them as part of the 2005 (i think) Download, and they were a decent little outfit live. Competing with bands like Stone Sour, Disturbed, Spine Shank, Audioslave.
It`s them I remember more of, than all the others.
